The 2015-2016 McKamy Honor Winds has been named a COMMENDED WINNER by the National Wind Band Honor Project again!
Many of the finest bands in the nation entered in the competition with over 235 entries through submitted recording in multiple classifications. Honor Winds submitted Choreography by Sheldon & Arabian Dances by Balmages. We are extremely proud of all students in the program for this achievement. Congratulations to all!

With 21 schools encompassing Lewisville ISD, Southlake ISD, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and over 1100 students auditioning, these students rose to the top! We are very proud of all students that went through the process and are glad to see the improvement made by everyone!

McKamy Band earns 10th in the State! (2012-2013)
Congratulations to the McKamy Honor Winds for earning 10th in state at the CCC TMEA Honor Band process! The McKamy Honor Winds advanced from the Region and Area levels to advance to state. We are extremely proud of the band staff and students on this outstanding achievement!
